One of the things I ran into today was what the Step which our program talked about, and that was the Second Step. That was there earlier today in the morning, and this afternoon, and even after the meeting.
And that was the birth of the spiritual life for some of us, and, of course, starting our friendship with our Higher Power. It was clear for some of us, and it grew in time for most of the others. I know for myself that it hit me hard because it woke me up from the dream I had last night, which I shared with a friend of mine after the meeting.
Nevertheless all of this reminded me of this way of life we have been given by this program and Higher Power, what that means for each of us. It’s really the spiritual way of life.
I had to stop and think about this later on today. That’s because I had to express my gratitude to my Higher Power, and all those old timers, and others, who helped me to learn to grow in here. “Thanks!”
