All this began to show me that I need to do what I was told to do. I was told that I had to mentally remain in one day at a time. Not to project into the future, or drift back into the past. To begin to focus on the moment and to do what I must by working this program: the Steps and the spiritual life I began to learn from the Second Step.
As time has gone on, I have learned how much I have changed for the better, and how I have grown along spiritual lines and this program. Peace and happiness are constantly present, as long as I can focus on my growth. Also Faith, Hope, and Love, which have grown in also. And also compassion toward others in this program, as well as my commitment to do for others what was done for me. To freely give this program to newcomers.
Anyway, I was reminded of this through today’s meeting and discussions with others in here. Makes me grateful to my Higher Power for the gifts I have received, as well as all those, who have helped me along the way. Thanks.
