Going through this way of life, staying sober a day at a time, being able to change and begin to live a spiritual way of life, being able to faithful, hopeful, loving, is a wonderful gift I have been given. I know I have to be grateful to my Higher Power, and all those who have helped me along the way.
I know this life has taught me to begin to have hope, faith, and love, and to be willing to have a desire to reach out and freely give to others what was so freely given to me. To be willing to be open to receive what I need, and to be willing to be caring for others like myself.
All of this is what I think about each and everyday. I still need to be able to go to meetings regularly and listen to others and be willing to share what I have learned and what I have needed to do a day at a time.
Anyway I hope I am living the way I should. And I know I need to step back from time to time and practice the humility, as the steps and traditions point out to someone like me. Not always easy but do-able. Again I am truly grateful to my Higher Power, this program, and the people in it, who have helped me along the way.
